TechValidation IT Testing Camp Held in Berlin

From 28 June to 3 July 2026, Berlin hosted the GreenGuard TechValidation IT Testing Camp, an intensive activity dedicated to testing the project’s digital tools. The camp brought together eight participants two representatives from each partner organization from Croatia, Germany, Italy, and Portugal.

Over the course of 5 days, participants put the GreenGuard digital solutions including the GreenGuard platform, the mobile app, the Greenwashing Radar, and the EcoTruth 101 eLearning course through rigorous testing for functionality, reliability, and user-friendliness. Working in mixed international teams, they simulated real-life usage scenarios, identified bugs and usability issues, and documented detailed feedback for the development team.

Based on the results of the testing, participants formulated a set of recommendations for further improvements of the tools, aimed at making them even more useful for youth workers, young people, and civil society organizations across Europe in their efforts to identify and challenge greenwashing.

The TechValidation IT Testing Camp was a valuable opportunity for partners to jointly evaluate the project’s digital solutions and strengthen their quality through direct hands-on use and structured feedback.
