1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using GreenGuard (the “App”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy below. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

2. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 13 years old (or older if required by your local law). You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration data, keeping your credentials secure, and all activity on your account.

3. License & Ownership

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to install and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. We and our licensors own all rights in the App and its content (excluding User Content defined below).

4. User Content

You may post content (e.g., text, images, videos, comments). You retain ownership of your content. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute your content within the App solely to operate and improve the service.

4.1 Prohibited Content/Conduct

Do not upload or engage in: illegal content, harassment, hate, threats, sexual exploitation, doxxing, spam, malware, impersonation, or intellectual-property infringement. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third-party services (e.g., Google Firebase). Their terms and privacy practices apply to those services. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services.

6. Updates & Changes

We may update or change the App (including adding/removing features) or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We will reflect changes in the "Effective date".

7. Termination

You can stop using the App or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or for security/legal reasons.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement). We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or revenues, arising from or related to your use of the App.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of European Union without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If your local consumer law grants mandatory rights, those remain unaffected.

GreenGuard — Privacy Policy

1. Summary

We collect only what we need to create/manage your account, deliver core social features, ensure safety, and improve reliability. We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the App (e.g., Firebase).

2. Data We Collect

Account & Profile: name/username, email, password (or federated sign-in ID), profile photo, basic settings.

User Content & Activity: posts, comments, reactions/likes, media you upload, timestamps.

Device & Diagnostics: crash logs, performance metrics, basic analytics events (opens, feature usage), device info (model, OS version, language, time zone, region inferred).

Optional (only if enabled/granted):

  • Camera/Photos/Media (to capture/upload)
  • Push token (to deliver notifications)
  • Location (only if a location-based feature is turned on; remove if unused)

Please avoid posting sensitive personal data. We do not intentionally collect special categories unless you include them in content.

3. How We Use Data

  • Create and manage your account; authenticate and keep you signed in
  • Provide social features (feeds, posts, comments, follows, notifications)
  • Maintain safety; detect/prevent spam, abuse, and fraud
  • Monitor stability, fix issues, and improve the App
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share only with:

  • Processors / service providers (e.g., Google Firebase: Authentication, Firestore Protection Database, Cloud Storage, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance) under contracts and appropriate security;
  • Legal/safety recipients where required;
  • Business transfers (e.g., merger), under the same protections.

5. International Transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

6. Retention

  • Account/profile and user content: kept while your account is active.
  • Diagnostics/analytics: kept for a limited period to ensure stability and security.
  • Backups: retained temporarily per routine backup cycles.

When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period unless retention is required by law, security, or fraud-prevention obligations.

7. Your Choices and Rights

  • Permissions: revoke camera, photos/media, location, and notifications in Android settings.
  • Access/Deletion: use in-app Delete Account, or email pannonia.consulting@gmail.com
  • EEA/UK: rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict/object, data portability, and withdraw consent. You may complain to your local authority.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (e.g., encryption in transit, role-based access). No method is 100% secure.

9. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete it promptly.

GreenGuard — Child Safety Standards

GreenGuard is committed to protecting the safety, well-being, and rights of all users—especially minors. We strictly prohibit any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and enforce strong safety measures across the platform.

1. Zero-Tolerance Policy for CSAE

GreenGuard expressly prohibits:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Any content that depicts, promotes, or implies the exploitation, abuse, or endangerment of minors
  • Predatory behaviour, grooming, or attempts to contact minors for harmful or exploitative purposes

Any user or content violating this policy will be immediately removed, and accounts will be suspended or permanently banned.

2. Scope of These Standards

These standards apply to:

  • All users of the GreenGuard mobile app
  • All posted content (text, photos, links, messages, comments)
  • Public and private communication features

3. Reporting Harmful Content

Users can report any inappropriate content or safety concern directly inside the GreenGuard app. Reports are reviewed urgently, and confirmed violations are escalated when required.

4. Cooperation With Authorities

GreenGuard complies with all applicable child protection, online safety, and reporting laws. When legally required, GreenGuard reports incidents to:

  • Relevant national law-enforcement authorities
  • Child protection organizations
  • Other authorities as specified by EU/EEA regulations

5. Moderation & Safety Measures

To protect users, GreenGuard implements:

  • Human and automated moderation
  • Filters for harmful or explicit content
  • Monitoring of repeated safety violations
  • Account restrictions for suspicious or harmful behaviour
